A monster year for Brad Leighninger. Winning pork at Memphis in May, winning the Jack Daniels Invitational, and now back to back KCBS Team of the Year Championships (which he has won 3 out of the last 4 years). All of that while running 4 restaurants. As was mentioned in the program, he may very well be the Tom Brady of BBQ. His team, Gettin' Basted, has finished no less than 7th place in the last 7 consecutive KCBS Team of the Year standings, winning it out right 3 of those years (there are literally thousands of registered KCBS teams). Brad has become the benchmark of consistency.
