Then, they go Around The Station with some sound from other shows about the Seahawks and Mariners.

Brock and Salk look at the weekend of NFL Wild Card games and compare how far off the Seahawks are after watching all of the contests. Then, they react to Jordan Babineaux stating that he believes Geno Smith and DK Metcalf will both be gone this offseason. Salk thinks there's too many NFL playoff games now, stating that there's too much of a gap in talent now as they recap the games, including the Sunday Night Football thriller between the Commanders and Buccaneers. Then, they go Around The NFL with all of the storylines from this weekend of playoff games.
Salk shares a Mariners stat that he was sent that was shocking, and he shares it with everyone. Later, they do an NFL Wild Card Weekend whip around where they preview a few of the games with a handful of guests, including Zach Bye in Denver, Matt Smith in Los Angeles, John Keim in Washington DC and Brooke Pryor in Pittsburgh.
Brock and Salk take a look at a few players who played in the Orange Bowl between Notre Dame and Penn State and discuss who could be a fit for the Seahawks in the upcoming NFL Draft. Then, they welcome on Gee Scott from Dallas to preview the Cotton Bowl between Ohio State and Texas. In Blue 88, topics include some upcoming NFL free agents that stand out, who will be the third QB drafted in APril behind Shedeur Sanders and Cam Ward and one is one trait that all three of the offensive coordinators have that have interviewed for the Seahawks job so far.
Salk opens the show incredibly unimpressed by the QB play in the Orange Bowl and wonders why there isn't better QB play in college football. Thn, they re-air their conversation with Jeff Passan of ESPN to discuss the Mariners offseason and how they can improve the roster.
We dig into Passan's thoughts on the M's inaction so far this offseason. Brock says sometimes you have to overpay. Salk says that's understandable but not if you're trading one of your starting pitchers. Then, we break down what we know about the two reported Seahawks offensive coordinator interviews so far.
