hello, everybody, Welcome to LizhiFM42920 the voice of buyi. Today let us enjoy together a short english passage A father's job is unique.

    A father's job is unique.

If parents had job descriptions mine would read: organize bills, playmates, laundry, meals, laundry, carpool, laundry, snacks, outings and shopping, and laundry.

The only thing on my husband's description would be the word “fun” written in big red letters along the top. Although he is a selfless care-giver and provider, our children think of him more as a combination of a jungle gym and bozo and clown.

Our parenting styles compliment each other. His style is a nonstop adventure where no one has to worry about washing their hands, eating vegetables, or getting cavities. My style is similar to Mussolini. I'm too busy worrying to be fun. Besides, every time I try, I am constantly outdone by my husband.

I try to tell myself I am a good parent even if my husband does things I can't do. I can make sure my children are safe, warm, and dry. I'll stand in line for five hours so the children can see Santa at the mall or be first in line to see the latest Disney movie. But I can't wire the VCR so my children can watch their favorite video.

As a mother I can do a lot of things for my children, but no matter how hard I try I can never be their father.

Welcome to LizhiFM42920 the voice of buyi. Today let us enjoy together a short english passage Today is All We Have.

The new day is here, and so are you! Now that we've started this new day, I hope that you're ready to give your best to it, and to enjoy it for all that it's worth!

Remember today that you are alive.

Sometimes we tend to forget that you have a purpose that is all your own, no one else is you. You have dreams and hopes and desires. Listen to your heart for a while.

Remember today all the blessings you have: There's beauty in every direction you look, enjoy the abundance that is already yours, the world is a wonderful place and you're here.

Remember today that you get what you give: Your world is a mirror of your inner self, love will be yours when you give it away.

Remember today that life is creation: As long as you live you can always contribute your own special voice.

Remember today is a special time; make the best of it while you can.

    KFC's Colonel Sanders

When I read last week that a majority of Americans ages 18 to 25 didn't know who Colonel Sanders was,I was shocked.

According to USA Today,61% of respondents didn't know who the guy with the beard in the KFC logo was.

For anyone who grew up in America in the second half of the 20th century, the Colonel was a true icon.

You didn't need to be able to read to know who he was;you didn't even need to watch TV.

Anyone who drove a mile in any direction would see his beaming, grandfatherly visage and white suit and know that Kentucky Fried Chicken could be found there.

Maybe not everybody knew that he was the chain's founder or remembered his TV commercials from the '60s and '70s,when he talked about how each piece was dipped in an "egg warsh" before frying.

But, at least, they knew he was real.

Half of the young adults in the survey, which was ordered up by the chain, assumed that he was the creation of KFC,rather than the other way around.

In fact, the Colonel wasn't just a fast-food baron who represented his company on TV.

Sanders was the living embodiment of what his food supposedly stood for.

His white suit wasn't the invention of a marketing committee;he wore it every day and was never seen in public for the last 20 years of his life in anything else.

He was a failure who got fired from a dozen jobs before starting his restaurant, and then failed at that when he went out of business and found himself broke at the age of 65.

He drove around in a Cadillac with his facepainted on the side before anybody knew who he was, pleading with the owners of run-down diners to use his recipe and give him a nickel commission on each chicken.

He slept in the back of the car and made handshake deals.

He was a lawyer who once assaulted his own client in court.

He was indeed a Kentucky Colonel,an honorary title given to him by not one but two governors.

    Releasing the Past

The successful person takes this approach: Learn from past mistakes and make adjustments in future behavior. The strategy of berating yourself for past conduct solves nothing and only serves to lower your self-esteem. You create a vicious cycle where negative experiences and negative feelings are reinforced, which leads to more negative outcomes and more negative feelings.

If you insist on dwelling in the past, I suggest that you focus on your past successes. Visualizing and thinking about past successes is an excellent way to build confidence and self-esteem. What you think about is what you become. Therefore, when you concentrate on your successes, you help to create future successes.

When you find yourself starting to dwell on past negative experiences, immediately halt and remind yourself: "There is nothing I can do now which will change what happened. I learned a valuable lesson and will act in a more constructive manner next time."

Regardless of what you have done--or failed to do--the only sane approach is to accept it and move forward.

    When You Are Old

    (BY William Butler Yeats)

When you are old and grey and full of sleep

And nodding by the fire, take down this book

And slowly read, and dream of the soft look

Your eyes had once, and of their shadows deep

How many loved your moments of glad grace,

And loved your beauty with love false or true,

But one man loved the pilgrim soul in you,

    And loved the sorrows of your changing face;

And bending down beside the glowing bars,

    Murmur,a little sadly,how love fled

And paced upon the mountains overhead

And hid his face amid a crowd of stars.
