岭南布衣：河南省泌阳县人，毕业于兰州大学外国语学院英美语言文学专业，现居广东湛江，任职于广东海洋大学国际交流与合作处。喜欢中西文化尤其国学，诗歌创作和朗诵以及视频制作。现为湛江诗社会员，作品散见于朋友诗集《燕南诗集》和湛江诗社创办的《海东文艺》。

时光 醉倒在眼眉
一束玫红
纷乱在季节的回放里
你走来 一袭素衣
发如雪

你很近 在梦里
红唇摆渡流年
芬芳温馨弥漫
拈一手吹气如兰
在周围潋滟

你很近
近得如楼台晚风
揽在臂弯的月
洗去凡尘

你很远 在风里
笛音流放岁月
红颜翩飞若莲
袖一曲温润箫声
任心花浮动

Cutting Off A Period Of Time

Slowly approaching the serenity
In this noisy city
I myself choose a corner
Enjoy a calm beauty

In fact as to life
Writing attentively is enough
And about some things
Not necessary to speak them out

Putting down our hearts
Enjoying the quietness inside
We can embrace chilax and easiness
And wake to know
A kind of heartache is abandonment

Never innate are
Wisdom and way of being
They have to go through too much
Silent polishing and precipitating
Many times a hurt wound
Would have to go through a thousand times.
Scabbing and mending
Then slowly gets healed by days
Sometimes sadness comes along with smile
Loneliness along with happiness
Every stretch of road we walk through
A process that cannot be foreseen it is
Just like we never know
When the flowers open
When the water stop flowing
When babies come to this world

Life always gives us
An unexpected surprise
We can not escape
The tease of reality and fellness
Ever we were sad and we were happy
And ever we tried and got touched
But life is just an experience
Neither with birth nor with death

Accept the fate arrangements
Smile at the face of helpless life
Put down the past persistent in the heart
And embrace the wonderful life together

致我们终将远离的子女

纪伯伦（1883—1931），黎巴嫩诗人、散文家、画家。他在黎巴嫩接受了基础教育，曾到法国学习绘[3] 画，1911年起长期定居美国。他是阿拉伯近代文学史上第一位使用散文诗体的作家。主要作品有散文诗集《先知》《泪与笑》《沙与沫》等。他的作品大多以“爱”与“美”为主题，通过大胆的想象和象征的手法，表达深沉的情感和高远的理想。

这首诗的题目有几个翻译版本，一为《你的儿女不是你的》，二为《论孩子》，三为《致我们终将远离的子女》等等。内容是论父母之道的。诗人从根本上否定了父母把孩子视为私有物、附属物的观念，指出孩子是独立的，是与父母平等的个体，父母只能给孩子以爱，却不能代替他们思想、灵魂的形成。这种思想仍有启发意义。

3. What&`&s the climate like in your country? 你们国家的气候怎么样？ 这里的like用作是介词，不是动词，它的宾语是what，意思类似“像……”，而不是用作动词时所表达的“喜欢”的含义。
4. always, often, sometimes 这三个词都是表示频率。其中always最频繁、often其次，sometimes只表示有时候。
