Study any person of high achievement or success and you'll quickly realize that their entire life is structured around routine. They don't do anything without purpose and more often than not, their days are time-blocked to ensure that they are getting the most out of every day, hour, and minute.
And this all starts with how you begin your day.
When you wake up, you have 1 of to choices to make. You can begin in a reactive state, allowing others and the outside world to dictate how you think and feel. This is done by immediately opening up social media or email and letting other people into your life before you've done anything for yourself.
Or, you can do like Justin Schenck said in Episode 5, fill your cup up first.
In this episode, I walk you through how I currently structure my morning, and why I spend almost 2 hours every single day focusing on building myself, before I do anything else.
