“Universities that want taxpayer dollars should promote free speech, not silence free speech,” President Donald Trump said two weeks ago issuing an executive order that cuts federal research funding to institutions that fail to promote “free inquiry.” He was flanked at the signing ceremony by conservative student activists. So what’s going on with speech on campuses in America right now? 

The Hunt for the USS Wasp

There are 3,000 US Navy ships lying at the bottom of the ocean – that we know of. Many more ships are lost at sea, along with their crew. But there’s an underwater vessel called “the Petrel” dedicated to tracking down wreckage. The Petrel recently discovered the USS Wasp, 75 years after it sank.  That aircraft carrier is just one of dozens of missing ships the Petrel’s crew has found. 

New Barbie Will Come With a Wheelchair

This summer Mattel is introducing a Barbie with what is says has been one of the most requested accessories – a wheelchair. Another Barbie will come with a removable prosthetic leg. They’re part of the Barbie Fashionistas line, which includes a variety of skin tone, hair and body types.
