Technology is wonderful but too much can obviously cause problems in our lives. One example is texting. The ability to send short notes to people is certainly convenient but in the dating world, depending on texting as a primary way to communicate can give a false sense of bonding or attachment.

When you’re looking for a relationship, real communication both in person and via phone calls is paramount to determine if you’re a good fit for each other. When someone is texting behind a screen, it’s very easy to craft the perfect responses or to appear that your values align. You can’t see the body language or hear the tone of voice while texting, so try not to get attached prematurely.
