Are you the type of person that once you start something you need to see it through to completion?
If so, you are not alone. In today’s episode, Lynn talks with Physical Therapist and Certified Birth Healing Practitioner, Anne Guist, about her journey to becoming certified.
Anne initially met Lynn as a client. She had experienced a traumatic first birth and was seeking support. As a Physical Therapist, she saw the need to support women in the way she had been by Lynn and switched career paths into the pelvic health speciality. Being new to pelvic health and not seeing results with the techniques she learned in her initial training, she decided to start the journey towards certification with the Institute for Birth Healing. She is a self reported box checker and it just made sense. The certification process helped her really integrate the work and analyze what was working and what wasn’t when treating her clients. It helped her develop her pelvic floor clinical reasoning.
