Conversations for Yoga Teachers

In this episode, I share a journal exercise you can do to be sure you’re teaching in a way that’s consistent with what you value about teaching yoga. I also share excerpts from Mark Singleton’s book, Yoga Body: The Origins of Modern Posture Practice.”

I interviewed Kat on the show before and I wanted to have her back on to talk specifically about energy healing and a specific technique called Akashic Records readings. 

She recently did a session with me and I was amazed at how much of what she said resonated. In this episode, we cover some of the basics of energy readings, talk about what it means to hold space for your students and go into detail about what Akashic records readings are and how you can benefit from one.

Most yoga teachers tell me they believe that learning anatomy is hard. What I’ve always known is that when you learn it in a particular way, step by step, with regular testing of what you’ve learned, it’s much easier and you get better results.
