Being diagnosed with Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder for many is not an easy thing to accept. We don't really believe that it's something that would happen to us and we look for other explanations and pretend to ourselves that we don't really have it. But ultimately in order to begin the process of healing and moving forward in life we need to accept our condition and stay positive about our experiences throughout the stages of therapy and learning about this terrible disability that we have. I talk about my own issues with accepting my diagnosis in this episode and give advice to my listeners in this episode.
