Matt von Boecklin is the founder of Quit Kit, a science-backed recovery tool created from his own lived experience with alcohol addiction.
After years of struggling with kratom abuse—intensified by frequent relocations and the mental toll that came with them—Matt began looking for practical, physiological support for the earliest and hardest phase of quitting. Drawing on his background in chemical engineering, he developed Quit Kit, a three-week supply of targeted nutrients designed to ease withdrawal symptoms and support dopamine regulation.
Today, Matt speaks openly about addiction, recovery, and resilience, emphasizing the role of biology, community, and honest support in helping people quit—and reminding others that they don’t have to go through it alone.
They are three sisters born into a large family of ten children in the late 1950s and early 1960s, raised in a disadvantaged area of Dublin.
