When you go to a phone store, you’ll see iPhones, Samsung Galaxies, and phone cases lining the walls. What you won’t see available for purchase are parts to fix phones. No screens, no circuit boards, no fix-it-yourself manuals. The Right to Repair Campaign at the US Public Interest Research Group says that picture is wrong.
 
Tobacco Companies Use Social Media Platforms to Advertise

Tobacco companies in the US and many other countries are not allowed to target teenagers with their advertising. But social media has opened up new ways to skirt that restriction. A two-year investigation by the Campaign for Tobacco Free Kids uncovered global campaigns by Philip Morris and other leading tobacco companies to get their cigarettes trending in the Instagram feeds of young people.

If it was so bad that she knew he might kill her, why didn’t she just leave? That may be the most common question people ask about cases of domestic violence. And journalist Rachel Louise Snyder says it shows a fundamental misunderstanding of what the World Health Organization calls a “global health problem of epidemic proportions.” Here in the US, one in four women experience domestic violence. Nearly half of all women killed in America over the last decade were murdered by a current or former husband or boyfriend.
