Danni Carr has a passion for self improvement and self preservation. After years of touring and partying with musician husband Ash Grunwald, the excessive binging started to take its toll and Danni (and Ash) decided enough was enough. When a good friend of Danni's said she was going to take 12 months off drinking, both Danni and Ash didn't hesitate in joining in. What started as a 12 month commitment in 2017 has now turned into 5+ years and Danni has never looked back. Now the host of the podcast How I Quit Alcohol, Danni is a certified life coach, breath work and meditation teacher, and is currently writing a book with Ash about alcohol. Both are passionate about helping other people break the cycle with alcohol and rebuild confidence to start a new life from the inside out. I have followed Danni for some time and, given my experience in giving up alcohol, I really wanted to dig deep into not only how Danni quit alcohol but also why. I enjoyed speaking with Danni so much but have (quite typically) over analysed and lost sleep over how I conducted myself here and sort of wish I had been different... nonetheless I really hope you enjoy it.
