I generally say steer clear of obsessing over problems and people. The only thing you should obsess over is your own wellbeing. Feel free to get caught up in a new hobby or joy, but when day in and day out your thinking is always coming back to the things that aren’t within your control - like ‘why didn’t she text me back?’ Or ‘what if I never make as much money as them’ you’ll miss out on a lot of time and energy that you could have been worrying about yourself or other things that are actually within your control and have the potential to solve the problems you’re hell bent on rehearsing in the first place.
