It’s not about fitting in with the crowd - it’s about doing the things that feel the best and create the best outcome as a result. There is nothing to be ashamed of if you’re the pioneer of an experience or a look or a choice. If it’s not actively putting anyone else in danger - you should be excited to stand out, you never know who may be watching that needed a bit of encouragement to stand with you.
