In today's leadership spark, I spoke with Martin Moore, former CEO of CS Energy and author of No Bullsh*t Leadership. We discussed the frustration behind the lack of practical guidance for desirable leadership attributes, and the detrimental effects of leaders who attend training programs but do nothing different. We also touched on the difficulty of transitioning from individual contributor to leader, and the need for more mentoring and role models.

Martin emphasized the importance of pushing through the discomfort of developing good leadership habits, and the impact it can have on yourself, your team, and the company. Ultimately, we agreed that leadership is about taking action and making the choice to step into difficult situations with a willingness to learn and improve.
