#086 – Developing love and acceptance through self-compassion and curiosity
When we open ourselves up to look at the parts of ourselves we don’t like, it can be hard to accept them, let alone come to love that part of who we are. Sometimes we just want to put that unacceptable part of us back in the bottle and pretend we never saw it. But, if we do that, we are denying part of who we are and we stunt our own growth. Self-compassion can be the answer. It’s a powerful tool, and when we layer curiosity together with compassion, it might just be the very thing you need to move forward.
