It's almost impossible to believe that our beloved Premiere Party Person, Anne Rice's 81st birthday is happening without her on this earth, but Christopher and Eric are sure she would have loved this tribute to one of her favorite subjects — tales of the paranormal — and one of her favorite films. To celebrate Anne's life and work, we asked you, our Party People, to share ghost stories of your own and the results were emotional, moving and a little spooky.

Eric searched the heavens for a True Crime TV Club that could mark the autumnal equinox and somehow we all ended up at a gym in Florida. Find out how we made the strange trip as your hosts serve up episode 2 of season 1 of KILLER BODS, entitled "Pride & Payback". And so we asked you this — What would your bully need to say or to do today to make up for the way they treated you during those years? Your answers were diverse, emotional and moving, much like C. Travis Rice's new book.

Serial killer Stephen Port used the anonymity offered by the Internet to kill and to deceive the grieving in diabolical ways. But to what extent was he aided and abetted by the incompetence and homophobia of the local police? And to what extent does this prestigious limited series on Britbox stick with the known facts of the case? Christopher and Eric are surprised by the answers as they serve up a True Crime Movie Time featuring "The Barking Murders" aka “Four Lives”. Now if only they could figure out why the series is called "Four Lives" in some markets and on the Internet Movie Data Base —perhaps this episode’s biggest mystery.

In the first serving of this all new True Crime Pairing, Christopher and Eric head across the pond and into the twisted mind of one of Britain's most notorious serial killers, Stephen Port. In "How The Police Missed The Grindr Killer" — the BBC doc is available on You Tube here in the United States — we learn how Port claimed the innocent lives of several young queer men before playing sadistic mind games with their grieving relatives. But would this nightmare have come true for so many if not for the complete incompetence of the local police? Was it homophobia or bigoted stereotyping or just disorganized unprofessional bureaucracy? Find out in this and next week's episode, when we serve up "The Barking Murders" aka “Four Lives”, a dramatized limited series based on the case.

With summer on the wane, it's time for a Back to School themed query on The Dinner Party Show's Facebook page. We asked, you answered. If you could travel back in time and relive your high school experience all over again, what would you do differently and why? Christopher and Eric have their own answers. Incompetent critic-at-large Jordan Ampersand joins us with his thoughts on the topic, or does he? Perhaps he’s just coloring outside the lines or maybe he just didn’t understand the question.

With its period costumes and not-always-terrible reenactors, the Discovery Channel series A CRIME TO REMEMBER is a TDPS favorite, but episode 6 of season 4, entitled "Guess Who?" left Christopher and Eric scratching their heads and checking the rafters. This story of marital murder in 1922 Los Angeles at first seems pretty cut and dried….until you look up. As the twists and turns unfold, Eric focuses his magnifying glass on the most important question of all — how stupid were the cops assigned to this case?

In which your hosts Christopher and Eric get self-reflective about something other than their diet plans. Why do we love true crime stories? What do we gain from studying them and discussing them? One thing's for sure. Conspiracy or not, these two gruesome serial killings gained national attention and had far reaching consequences.
