Paul Sparks | Bunny Hill Properties / Whale Club

As the founder and Operations Manager of Bunny Hill Properties, Paul got bit by the real estate bug when he first moved to Denver in 2013 and now invests in rental properties across Colorado.

Dan founded Nth Degree CPAs in Seattle in 2008 with the objective of building a successful practice by helping small business owners cultivate good accounting and tax practices to achieve their financial goals.

A Northwest native, Dan grew up in Renton and attended Seattle University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with emphases in Accounting and E-Commerce Information Systems.

Upon graduation, Dan was selected from a pool of nominees from the nation’s top 50 accounting programs for an exclusive fellowship with the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB). As a member of the GASB team, he was responsible for managing all technical inquiries and assisted what has become Statement No. 53, “Accounting and Financial Reporting for Derivative Instruments.” (For those who don’t speak CPA, accountants consider setting a national standard to be a big deal).

Since then, Dan has worked in finance and accounting roles at Clark Nuber, UPS, WaMu, and Deloitte and Touche’s Audit and Enterprise Risk Services practices, where he was primarily responsible for auditing the financial statements and IT internal controls around the Treasury cycle at Microsoft.

Outside of work, Dan has been actively involved in the Seattle University community, including previously serving as the Alumni Board of Governors President. He bikes and runs frequently and has completed three Half-Ironman triathlon races (one to see if he could do it and two to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society). Dan is an avid fan of both the Seahawks and Seattle University Basketball (he’d be an avid fan of the Sonics, too, if they were still in town…).

Coming from Las Vegas, Nevada, Jason Griggs shares his journey from being a humble P.E. teacher and night club bottle server to becoming a real estate rental expert.

Jason Griggs is a licensed Real Estate Agent and Team Leader of The Griggs Team at Simply Vegas in Henderson, Nevada. Originally from Long Island, New York, Jason moved to Las Vegas in June 2011, which proved to be one of the best decisions of his life. It was here where Jason’s passion for real estate ignited, and he started his journey to becoming one of the most successful realtors in the city. He has sold over 20 million dollars worth of properties in his real estate career and built his own real estate investment portfolio. Jason is a personal real estate investor himself and holds over 25 rental properties in Henderson, NV & other parts of the US.

Slowly, he turned his investments into short-term rental properties and found tremendous success. Jason has become the biggest Short Term Rental investor in the Las Vegas / Henderson Nevada area, and now, he personally owns 11 successful short-term rental real estate properties and personally runs 11 of them with little to no effort. This industry has blessed him with huge success. He now wants to help experienced and aspiring real estate investors get into this lucrative industry and build massive – and almost passive – wealth. Jason has also teamed up with Brad Lea (Dropping Bombs Podcast Host) to educate Realtors and other investors on how to build their short-term rental portfolios. 

In 2016, Jason founded The Griggs Team, which consists of top real estate professionals in Nevada. Together, they have built a culture that motivates each of them to be their best selves and to provide the best service for their clients.

Jason has also been named the Top 20 Realtors on Instagram by Property Sparks and Top 40 Agents Under 40 in Las Vegas.

Business aside, Jason is an active member of the community. He started a lacrosse program called, Moving Up Lacrosse. It started out with 30 players and has grown to over 200 players. As a coach, he demonstrates the characteristics of being a genuine role model. He emphasizes the importance of teamwork and mental toughness.

Jason believes that it is vital to give back to the community. His lacrosse program regularly participates in holiday food drives to ensure that the less fortunate have a warm meal to eat.

As a collegiate athlete, he attended West Virginia University and completed his bachelor’s degree in Sports Marketing and Communications. He continued his education at Adelphi University and earned his master’s degree in Education. Currently, he resides in Henderson with his wife, Samantha, and their son James.

Dan founded Nth Degree CPAs in Seattle in 2008 with the objective of building a successful practice by helping small business owners cultivate good accounting and tax practices to achieve their financial goals.

A Northwest native, Dan grew up in Renton and attended Seattle University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with emphases in Accounting and E-Commerce Information Systems.

Upon graduation, Dan was selected from a pool of nominees from the nation’s top 50 accounting programs for an exclusive fellowship with the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB). As a member of the GASB team, he was responsible for managing all technical inquiries and assisted what has become Statement No. 53, “Accounting and Financial Reporting for Derivative Instruments.” (For those who don’t speak CPA, accountants consider setting a national standard to be a big deal).

Outside of work, Dan has been actively involved in the Seattle University community, including previously serving as the Alumni Board of Governors President. He bikes and runs frequently and has completed three Half-Ironman triathlon races (one to see if he could do it and two to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society). Dan is an avid fan of both the Seahawks and Seattle University Basketball (he’d be an avid fan of the Sonics, too, if they were still in town…).

Paul Sparks | Bunny Hill Properties / Whale Club

As the founder and Operations Manager of Bunny Hill Properties, Paul got bit by the real estate bug when he first moved to Denver in 2013 and now invests in rental properties across Colorado.

Dan Nicholson | Certainty OS Creator

Dan founded Nth Degree CPAs in Seattle in 2008 with the objective of building a successful practice by helping small business owners cultivate good accounting and tax practices to achieve their financial goals.

A Northwest native, Dan grew up in Renton and attended Seattle University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with emphases in Accounting and E-Commerce Information Systems.

Upon graduation, Dan was selected from a pool of nominees from the nation’s top 50 accounting programs for an exclusive fellowship with the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB). As a member of the GASB team, he was responsible for managing all technical inquiries and assisted what has become Statement No. 53, “Accounting and Financial Reporting for Derivative Instruments.” (For those who don’t speak CPA, accountants consider setting a national standard to be a big deal).

Since then, Dan has worked in finance and accounting roles at Clark Nuber, UPS, WaMu, and Deloitte and Touche’s Audit and Enterprise Risk Services practices, where he was primarily responsible for auditing the financial statements and IT internal controls around the Treasury cycle at Microsoft.

Outside of work, Dan has been actively involved in the Seattle University community, including previously serving as the Alumni Board of Governors President. He bikes and runs frequently and has completed three Half-Ironman triathlon races (one to see if he could do it and two to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society). Dan is an avid fan of both the Seahawks and Seattle University Basketball (he’d be an avid fan of the Sonics, too, if they were still in town…).

Dan enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters.
