第四季的核心，在於最有效率的精讀與精聽，以這集的其中一個句子為例：

第四季的內容規畫，有以下兩大更新：
1.前三季以美式發音為主。而多益考試聽力測驗有部分比例是英式與澳洲腔發音，這也是大部分應試者比較弱的一塊。因此，這一季以英式發音為主，之後的集數會同步輔以美式與澳洲腔，全方位提升英文聽力能力。
2.這一季採精聽精讀的設計，以第一個句子為例：
As an independent consultant, she values the freedom to choose her projects and the flexibility to work according to her own schedule.
在這個句子，可一併學習consultant(顧問)、flexibility(彈性)、以及可做為動詞使用的單字Value。練習聽力的同時也增進字彙熟悉度。

生病看診不但是多益測驗的一個命題主題，同時也是生活化的領域。在介紹與醫療相關的多益字彙前，先來介紹一些與日常息息相關的一些詞彙英文該怎麼說。
預約掛號（Make an appointment with Dr.---）with後接醫生名字。領藥則是Pick up medication.
