***Additional Notes/Correction***
Around 16 minutes, Emily says that dismissive avoidants don't trigger as much of the *anxious* side of a fearful avoidant's attachment, but she meant to say they don't tigger the *avoidant* side as much because there's not as much emotional closeness. When fearful avoidants, who have both an anxious and avoidant side to their attachment, date a dismissive avoidant, they will often present more anxious in their relationship and even believe they are anxiously attached. So while the dynamic might seem slightly more stable at first, the FA will often experience more triggers around feeling unloved and unseen because of the lack of emotional intimacy and emotional availability.
