In this episode, Vanessa Branson, a serial entrepreneur who recently wrote her memoir, has joined me for a conversation about "focused enthusiasm" that has helped her and her siblings to launch various successful businesses. Vanessa comes from a family of extraordinarily successful entrepreneurs (one of her siblings is Richard Branson, a famous entrepreneur and founder of the Virgin Group). Vanessa shares her thoughts on the difference between her generation and the younger generations, parenting, the importance of having courage, trusting people, and not consuming too much "scary content".
In this bonus episode, I am sharing my thoughts on the power of moderation and
why it is important to go easy on yourself while embarking on a health journey. There are a lot of extreme measures in the modern world, that include extreme diets, workouts, and other seemingly efficient quick fixes. These techniques seem beneficial in the short term, but as they cause stress (and guilt, when we can't keep up with them), they are detrimental to our long term health. In this episode, I am sharing my tips on how to remove this guilt and health extremism and achieve long term health through easy, moderate, and enjoyable lifestyle changes.
