For the second consecutive year, BrightLocal’s Local Consumer Review Survey found that consumers prefer AI-generated responses over those written by humans. The study raises questions about how consumers perceive AI in customer interactions.
  • In two separate tests (a restaurant in 2024 and a vet clinic in 2025), 58% of respondents preferred AI-generated responses over human-written ones.
