7 Ways to Get Back on Track
Do you even remember the last time you actually felt good? I think many of us have forgotten what it feels like to not be tired, stressed, overwhelmed, bloated, and rundown all the time. Unfortunately, it's just become our new normal. But, we need to realize that what we are feeling in this current moment, whether that be tired, bloated, unhappy, or whatever feeling it may be, is our reaction to something else. We're not going to be tired for no reason, we're not going to be bloated for no reason, and we're not going to be unhappy for no reason. Something is causing us to feel this way. And in this episode, I give you a 3-step guide that will help you figure it out what makes you feel your best and what makes you feel your worst.

7 Ways to Get Back on Track
With summer right around the corner, I know you are probably hyper-focused on getting six-pack abs or a flatter stomach, am I right?
If you've been following me for a while, you know this isn't a topic I like to focus on, although I know it's a goal for many of you and that's why I think it's important I share these 9 important things with you.
If you are going to the extreme to get those six-pack abs–like doing a million crunches a day, spending hours doing cardio, drastically cutting calories, completely eliminating carbs, or fasting for an insanely long time–you could be doing more harm than good. To be 100% real with you, many of these extreme measures could actually be triggering you to store more abdominal fat instead of burning it. Seriously.
That's why in today's episode, I chat with you about how to actually get a flatter stomach while going about it in a healthy, sustainable, and more effective way.

Is it possible to quit playing the comparison game? Is there a way to quit allowing comparison to have so much control over your happiness and your confidence?

Episode 23: Stop Caring What Other People Think
You need to stop wearing sweatshirts that are way too baggy, blouses that cover your butt that you think is "way too big", long-sleeve shirts to hide your "flabby" arms, and leggings for your workout because you don't think you can "pull off" shorts. You need to stop avoiding jeans or any pants aside from yoga pants, and crop tops because you "don't have a six-pack." And you need to stop thinking you're "too big" to pull off a certain style. Just stop trying to hide your body and wear the clothes you want to wear!
Your body is beautiful, no matter what size it is, and it doesn't deserve to always be hidden behind clothing. Tune in to the full episode if this is a message you need to hear! If you loved this episode, you'll also love Episode 12: Stop Caring What Others Think. In this episode of Embrace Your Real, I share 10 things I wish I knew sooner on my fitness journey, and just on my journey through life! I discuss everything from why you binge you, to why spending hours doing cardio is a serious waste of time, why you striving to gain male attention won't fulfill you long-term, and seven more completely uncensored things! These are things, that if I look back at my 20-year-old self, I desperately wish I had known! And that's why I want to share them with you to hopefully make sure you don't make these mistakes for over a decade of your life!
I know it's easy to think you are the only one out there who struggles with self-acceptance, self-love, self-worth, and self-confidence. I know it's easy to believe that others who look like they have it all together actually do have it all together. It's easy to believe the girl you think is beautiful knows how beautiful she is and doesn't have any insecurities. It's easy to believe the girl who you think is super confident doesn't struggle with self-doubt. And it's easy to believe the girl who you think is super successful doesn't lack self-worth.
But the reality is, it doesn't matter who you are, or who they are, we all struggle! I want you to know that you are not alone in feeling these things. And that's why in this episode, I'm going to let you in on a little secret: I struggle, too.
