Paxlovid helped a lot of people get over COVID faster. But what about the people who never got better?

A large NIH-funded trial put that question to the test in almost 1,000 people, and the answer was no.

The 89% reduction that made Paxlovid famous came out of a narrow, high-risk group back in 2021, during the Delta wave. That was a different question, in a different group, at a different point in the pandemic. Evan H.
