PPA or DISC profile, whatever you name it, is a profiling tool that scores you from the questions you answer. It is an assessment of behaviour for you to better understand yourselves, your peers and your team members.
It scores you focusing on four personality traits:
D – Dominance
I – Influence
S – Steadiness
C – Compliance
I go on to explain more specifically the different types of assessment, from D to C, and how people with these results fit into the world of IT & MSP.
Then I shared with you my own profile. And what I have learned from doing this with my team is that I now know how to adjust my management, leadership and communication style to make sure everybody can get into flow as quickly as possible.
DISC profiling is an investment.
It helps you build better teams and understand their roles so that you can get more out of your team, that in turn will deliver more for your clients easier. Now what to remember is that these results change because we all grow and develop, so it's always good to rerun the program and assessment.
