My guest today is Lauren Thomas. After years of raising her kids and starting and stopping her own businesses, she officially decided to put her self-sabotaging habits on blast and get out of the comfortable misery she was in.

In this conversation, we talk about how she got herself from a state of depression and "dying a little bit each day" just two years ago, to now running a lifestyle blog and having a book published. 

Lauren is known as "The Modern Hippie" and writes about food, entertaining, lifestyle, travel, and writing. Her first book, "The Modern Hippie Table," is a lifestyle cookbook and is due to hit major bookstores, Amazon, Kindle and e-book later this summer.  She's with us today to inspire women to feel good in their own skin and to dare to move past the personal lies they often tell themselves.
