Meet Sarah Connell Sanders. Sarah is a teacher and freelance writer from my home city, Worcester, Massachusetts. Her writing is dedicated to creating conversations around food, women, and education. Her work is so amazing (especially those pieces she did on me, duh) that she has been named “Worcester’s Best Columnist” in 2019 by Best of Worcester, and in 2020, she appeared on Worcester Business Journal’s “40 Under Forty” list. 

In this episode, Sarah is going to share her story on how she got her surprise start as a freelance writer, ways she suggests going about taking up journalism as your career, and what she wishes she knew right off the bat.
