Meet Madison Smith she is a Clinical Systems Engineering Lead for Smart MDI Systems who works to bring first hand clinical and research experience from the field in order to lead user-centered product development and design in her current role at Medtronic. She is responsible for coordinating efforts between user needs, research and technology to drive innovation throughout the product lifecycle and actualization of real-world clinical outcomes.
Prior to joining Medtronic, she worked at the University of Florida where she spent time as a both a CDCES within their pediatric endocrinology office and as a clinical and translational research investigator studying pathway to disease progression, novel drug therapies, and testing pre-market diabetes technologies.
