The 5 Minute Tool: Create your Game Plan
(listen to the Heartsing Podcast linked above to get the full mindset)
1. GOAL/INTENTION - 30 seconds
Decide what you want from the event (desired outcome)
2. VISION - 30 seconds
Envision the Event. Close your eyes and see yourself there. Walk through it in your mind FEEL it as you move through the event. See it all--the people, the food, the thoughts.
3. OBSTACLES -1-2 minutes
What may get in the way of your goal?
Write down everything you can think of from your vision that might stop you from achieving your GOAL (this does not need to be a book, just get it out)
4. OUTCOME 2 minutes
Knowing your obstacles, how will you achieve the outcome you desire?
Write down any tools that may help you overcome these obstacles, for example:
You might decide to bring food you enjoy that will be on the right track, or make it if you are hosting. Maybe do a mocktail if that's your obstacle. Or perhaps it's all mind work you need to prepare for around food pushers.
Maybe you step away when you see an urge: have a plan to leave the party and get some fresh air if you feel your body urging. Perhaps you go to the bathroom and f-around on social media. Act like you get a call....whatever it takes to get somewhere you can breath, if you need to.
And that's all it takes to start living a NEW YOU! Be Intentional Heartsingers! We got this!
