In this first episode of a special IT Experts Podcast mini-series, we dive into the 36 powerful ideas and understand the mind behind success to scale your MSP with confidence. 

These 36 powerful ideas to scale your MSP comes from a resource that we have that you can actually download right HERE, and will be spread out into the five key episodes in this mini-series. 

As I briefly share with you what this mini-series will consist of, I also share how it’s important to get your pen and notepad (or electronic notepad) ready as I will be giving you some questions that are also important for you to answer, particularly in this episode. 

To start with, I mention how Episode 99 of the IT Experts Podcast plays an important role in this mini-series because that was the episode where Stuart and I talked about the MSP journey and its various stages. 

For this first episode of the mini-series, I talk to you about the One Thing your MSP needs, the importance of awareness and mindset in recognizing early warning systems in your MSP, how fear of change affects the way you run your MSP, and everything that has got to do with certainty, confidence and getting your mindset right. 

And for you to understand all of these ideas and how they link to building and scaling your MSP with confidence, then you will just have to listen to the whole episode. 

I also ask you the six powerful questions that I want you to spend a good 2-30 minutes on for you to fully have a think about and understand where your business is right now. I want you to write down these questions and answer them with your thoughts and initial response. 

1. On a scale of 1-10, how satisfied are you with how your IT/MSP is growing in line with the vision and hopes you had for it? Be honest with yourself.
2. If scoring less than a nine or ten, what specifically about the business is causing you to feel this way?  It may be more than one thing or area of the business…
3. What is the consequence of not addressing what came up in 2)?
4. If you could address what came up in 2) what difference would it make to your business and/or life?
5. What one thing could you do that would allow you to start to address this?
6. What would success look like if you fully addressed it?
