Could things have turned out differently than they did?

Really look at this. Our minds are constantly talking about what should have been, what could be, how things might have turned out if xyz were different…

But isn’t that pure fiction? I mean, it’s made up! Things were how they were, period. To make up a scenario where they were different is fantasy, right?

If you turned right and got into an accident, you literally could not have turned left. To say you could have has nothing to do with reality.

There is enormous freedom in truly seeing that things can never be different than they are.
