This week's podcast episode is all about how perfectionism holds you back from being stylish and confident. We would never tell a baby to give up on learning to walk because they stumbled or had to lean on something in order to stand up tall. Adults would never tell a toddler that Sally or Joan did it better. You would not ridicule a toddler for leaning on the wall or a piece of furniture to stand up tall. yet, we do that all the time to ourselves.

We hold ourselves hostage for some future weight, size, or perfect moment before taking care of ourselves. Even if we do proceed forward, we quit early because it didn't turn out the way it "should have" or the way we thought it "ought to" have been. This year, I am challenging my glam gals to finish their makeover story. Stop giving up on yourself. Commit to style and confidence everyday, even if Sally or Joan do it better. Even if it doesn't look the way you thought it would.
