While sleeping is physical rest, you actually need 7 types of rest to avoid adrenal fatigue.
I learned about “the 7 types of rest” from a book called Sacred Rest by Dr. Saundra Dalton-Smith.
She framed it as the 7 types of rest you need to stay at your best.
But when I read through it, I immediately thought “wow, this is actually a guide on how to avoid adrenal fatigue!”
I see so much BS on social media around adrenal cocktails and adrenal supplements, which it’s not to say those things are BAD, especially if you already know you have adrenal fatigue and you are in recovery.
But when it comes to actually preventing AND treating adrenal fatugue, these 7 things are MOST important.
