Del grew up in some unusual circumstances and her mind did all that it could to protect her. It did all that it could to heal the hurts of the past, as minds do. 

As a result, Del was caught up in narcissistic relationships and codependency for many years. 

Now, she experiences things very, very differently. What she’s been through and how things have changed for her are incredible. Her experience is so hopeful. It points to the fact that we can not be permanently damaged by anything that happens.
