Given what’s happening around the world with the coronavirus, I know many women are scared about what it means for their business. That’s why I wanted to do a special episode about how to market during a crisis and the opportunity that exists for your business.
Here are 7 tips to help you market your business & land clients despite the coronavirus and other outside circumstances:
Limit exposure to fear-based posts, news, and other media
Explore new offers and ways to serve your audience (with people spending more time at home, this is a great opportunity to launch a new service or program
Reconnect with your network. This may include past clients or referral partners. Keep those relationships going and look for ways to collaborate to reach a new audience!
Focus on growing your audience. There is so much freedom in having an audience you can market to regularly.
Consider a new group of people you’ve always wanted to serve - and focus on serving your existing clients well. Your clients are likely worried and need your support now more than ever.
Evaluate what’s working and what’s not working in your business. Use this extra time to make improvements and do more of what’s working. It’s also a great opportunity to expand your marketing efforts - perhaps by starting a podcast or blog.
Invest in support. I know, I know, it’s easy to believe that no one wants to spend money right now. But the opposite is true - this is a chance for you to invest in the support and knowledge you need to fill any gaps in your marketing. That way when things pick up (and they WILL), you are primed and ready to take action.
