Adam Nelson has qualified for a total of five World Outdoor Championship teams and earned seven world and Olympic medals, which included the 2004 Olympic gold. After initially winning silver at the 2004 Athens Olympics, Nelson was officially awarded gold in May of 2013 after Ukraine's Yuriy Bilonoh was stripped of the gold following a doping violation.
He is a graduate of Dartmouth and received his MBA from The University of Virginia. He’s currently the COO of The D10 Decathlon; a nationally televised athletic competition produced for amateur athletes testing speed, strength, agility, and coordination through a mix of 10-events traditionally performed in the Olympic decathlon and NFL Scouting Combine.
Adam, his wife and two daughters recently relocated to Houston.
