Motivation seems hard to come by at times. When people regain weight, they often talk about lacking motivation and not knowing how to ignite more motivation. Well, here’s the reality (which you may translate as not such great news): motivation will never, ever descend upon you from the heavens or the universe. Motivation can, however, and this is good news, be corralled, harnessed, or created. What motivated you to want to lose weight in the first place? What are your “whys?” Why did you want to create a healthy lifestyle? Chances are there were external reasons and internal reasons. Maybe you wanted to buy clothes at a particular store… an external reason. Perhaps you wanted to improve your health and feel better… internal reasons. Motivation… or the things you are willing to do to get what you want… can be externally or internally motivated or a combination of both! Listen and learn what would work best for you!
