This is a feel - good comeback story in several ways.  My friend David Castro dealt with mental health issues in his early adulthood like so many of us, and ended up homeless, unemployed, and unemployable.  But with a perserverance that he didn't even know he had, David fought his way back to being a productive member of society and then took up ultra running.  This year David was one of only 12 people to complete the Badwater Ultra Cup, completing all 3 Badwater races.  This was also a comeback in itself after David had a DNF at BW 135 in 2022.  Check out David's Project 368 on Youtube.  See link below.
