Today we are going to be talking about a topic that seems to come up again, and again, and again. And it answers the question, the age-old marketing question…
“Why should people do business with you over any and all other options?”
Yes, social proof and all of that is in play, but the word I really haven’t dug into is the ‘A’ word… AUTHENTICITY
“To be authentic, we must cultivate the courage to be imperfect — and vulnerable. We have to believe that we are fundamentally worthy of love and acceptance, just as we are. I’ve learned that there is no better way to invite more grace, gratitude and joy into our lives than by mindfully practicing authenticity.”— Brené Brown
An authentic person puts the people around them at ease, like a comforting, old friend who welcomes us in and makes us feel at home.
There’s never any doubt or questioning the integrity of an authentic individual. Their behavior, in terms of ethics and morals, is as predictable as snow during wintertime in Minnesota. You know what you’re going to get.
Highlights:
Until next time, get out there and make a difference, be unstoppable, and leave no regrets!
