Ok, so when I signed up for swimming lessons, you know what I wanted? Well, to learn how to swim! What did I get? Tutorials on how to tread the water, blow bubbles, and how to rotate my arms properly. But baby, that wasn't it. I had so many life-changing epiphanies in that damn pool it wasn't even funny. My ass was looking fear right in the face, being forced to trust the process and learning that everything I needed was already within me. And when I got too overwhelmed with panic, all I had to do was ask for help! Listen, y'all, the water was preaching to me!
