Ethiopia has built a gigantic dam on the Nile River, and it’s got Egypt and Sudan very upset. Both of those countries are downriver from Ethiopia and rely on the Nile for water. In the last month, President Trump waded into the conflict, siding with Egypt and pulling aid funding from Ethiopia. Talks between the three countries involved in the dispute started up again this week, but the dam is already built and Ethiopia has already started filling it.
