Exercise is important to the whole population, not jut diabetics.


Exercise is an activity repeated often enough that you start to see benefits in your physical fitness. Some of the benefits are:


  • weight loss - obesity is a risk factor for diabetes
  • Stronger Bones
  • Improves blood pressure
  • Improved sensitivity to Insulin
  • other benefits are lower rates of heart disease and cancer.


What counts as exercise. well if you have a dog, walk the dog! But, make it enjoyable for yourself and your dog.
