About Dr. Jordan Kapper 

Dr. Jordan Kapper, known as 'Kapper' by friends is an Emergency Medicine physician and co-founder of Lantern Light Capital - a self-storage investment company.

With his wife Rebecca and the playful charm of their son Jordan Jr. (aka ‘Baby Kap’), Kapper steers the financial and operational side of Lantern Light Capital.

Kapper started his real estate career investing in single and multifamily properties. However, after reflecting on several commercial asset classes Kapper decided to change his focus to self-storage investments. This shift was guided by various factors that set self-storage apart from single and multifamily investments: lower maintenance, direct control over pricing and marketing, strong historical performance, and tax benefits.

Lantern Light Capital has participated in all aspects of self-storage from extreme value-add properties to operations and syndications. This in-depth knowledge allows us to be “syndicator-operators” as well as gives us the ability to form creative partnerships with other savvy operators (we are very picky when it comes to our partners!).
