Lance Woolridge is one of the nicest guys in the world of motorsport. A passion for all things fast was passed down from his father, but it wasn't handed to him - Lance had to work hard for his passion and continues to do so today, keeping a business running whilst chasing the top step of the podium.

If you had told Emma Gilmour a year ago that she would be driving for the outfit that bears the name of New Zealand automotive royalty, she'd almost have certainly not believed you.

But now, Emma is part of an elite line up of drivers at the Woking based squad, representing one of the biggest shifts in diversity in motorsport, by being the first female driver to drive for McLaren, whilst repping the New Zealand flag.

Emma sat down with James at the MTC, and more recently online, to talk about her motorsport journey so far, driving at the Goodwood Festival of Speed and not opening her eyes when in a crash.

Izabella Rekiel was excited to join Extreme E as its inaugural impact correspondent, but to take part this globe-trotting Australian DJ would have to change her life by spending the entire season aboard the St Helena. 

In telling the story of the ship, its crew and their voyage around the world Izy saw firsthand the devastation being wrought by climate change and human behaviour but was inspired by a new perspective​ on​ the natural world and the growing number of people determined to save it. 

James and Michael caught up with Izabella at the end of the 2021 season to hear about her year aboard the ship that makes Extreme E tick. Just don't call it a boat.
