For example the prevalence of insomnia in shift workers is between 29% and 38%, compared to approximately 6% in the general population AND they have increased risk for developing diabetes, cardiovascular disease, obesity, gut health issues, breast cancer, prostate cancer, and colorectal cancer just to name a few.
