Hugs and handshakes are unlikely to be as spontaneous as they once were, and for the first time (for most of us anyway) we're going to need to ask friends and family about their vaccine status. And if their status is "unvaccinated" we will have more new terrain to traverse.
How do we talk to people about their vaccine status without making things awkward? And what do we do if there are people in our life that we need to see that refuse to be vaccinated? Associate Professor Holly Seale is an infectious disease social scientist at the University of NSW. Holly gives us some tips on how to handle these new and potentially awkward situations.
