In this week's episode we cover a big topic that impacts probably every single couple who are TTC: Stress.
We're always hearing that we need to "stop stressing" on our fertility journey, but how can we actually take that annoying statement and make it helpful?
In this episode from a Facebook Live, I share WHY stress impacts fertility, and get the conversation started around what we can actually do to make impactful change.
If you aren't already a member of Be Hormonally Confident, our free Facebook Community, you can join us at https://urlgeni.us/facebook/drkelsey.
If you're listening before June 14th 2022, come and take this conversation one step further in our brand new Stress & Infertility workshop, where I'll be sharing the research around stress and tangible steps to start working on today to increase your chances of conceiving.

Welcome back to the Fertility Confidence Podcast! We took a little break, but we are back and more inspired than ever.
Today I wanted to take second and talk about what to do when shit gets hard. When it starts to feel hopeless.. and like there's nothing else you can do. What do we do in those moments to both honour ourselves but also continue moving forward in our fertility journey?
If this episode speaks to you, I'd love to hear about it. Send me a note over on Instagram @fertilityconfidencemethod and make sure to share it with a person in your circle who maybe needs this message today.
Welcome back to the Fertility Confidence Podcast. In this episode, I had a chance to sit down with Amira Posner and chat all things therapy. Amira is a fertility-focused therapist in Toronto, Ontario. She uses the mind-body connection and mindfulness-based techniques to support couples on their fertility journey.
The framework of her approach to fertility support, and what makes it so effective, is the cutting edge Mind-Body techniques that help you to hone in on what is in your control vs. what isn't. These specific mind-body modalities can help you reconnect with yourself and relate to your struggle with new perspective.
Amira's background and academic education is in Social Work. She has both her Bachelor and Masters in Social Work from the University of Manitoba and has been working as a therapist for the last fifteen years. It wasn't until her own journey with secondary infertility that she began to focus her career in the area of reproductive health.
You can find out more about Amira on her website: www.healinginfertility.ca.
In this week's episode we are answering the burning question "what is IVF"?
It can be incredibly helpful to understand the process and know all the facts before you make such a big decision on your fertility journey. So I am very excited to have Claire O'Neill join us in this episode to chat all things IVF.
Claire is a former certified andrology and embryology lab scientist who worked at a large NY Fertility Clinic and has since gone to to co-found FertilitySpace, a database aimed to help couples find fertility clinics using the most up to date data.
In this episode we chat all about IVF, what it is and what does the process actually look like, egg and embryo freezing, what questions to ask a doctor you're considering working with, and so much more!
You can find more about FertilitySpace at their website https://fertilityspace.io/ and go follow them on Instagram @fertilityspace.io
In this week's episode I had a chance to sit down with Dr. Kirstie Griffiths, a chiropractor, yoga instructor and best-selling author of the book "Back to Wellness: A mind-body approach to managing your back pain".
Dr. Griffith's shared with us her wisdom on the connection between pain and mental health and how she supports individuals with back pain in her evidence-informed holistic health practice.
You may not even think of adding a Chiropractor to your healthcare team, but Dr. Griffiths shares with us that's it's more than just back cracking if you find the right practitioner.

This is part two of our four part series on cycle syncing. Last week we harnessed the power of the follicular phase, and learnt just how important it is to pay attention to for the fertility journey.
In this weeks episode we're covering the main event: ovulation. We often don't think of ovulation as a "phase" of the cycle. It's short, sweet and to the point. But it is crucial that we are ovulating if hoping to get pregnant.
That's why ovulation gets its own episode.
We're going to cover:
- How to truly know you're ovulating
- The important hormones and steps that make this happen
- How you may feel during this time, the good and the bad
- How to honour your body with food, movement, and lifestyle
