Our guest today, Aoife (pronounced "ee-fuh") McCormack, helps us understand that certain people (Shelby may just be one), known as "highly sensitive", have more sensitive nervous systems in which they see, sense, feel, and simply absorb more of the world and people around them. This can make it difficult for their bodies to process all of these feelings and emotions. Further, we've spoken on numerous occasions as to how these emotions can remain stuck in your nervous system and create disease in the body.
