The boys unpacked the grey area between retirement and getting de-listed, and even tried to call a few players who may have lied to us. We then got stuck into the footy and unpacked all of the round 21 action as well as getting through our Monday regular segments - Bucko's Big Moment of the Week & Where Are They Now?

We headed out to Penrith and the Whitewater Centre to chat with Jess in the boat shed on her home turf. Blood cool experience thanks to our friends at RedBull.

A 3x Olympic medallist, with bronze in London, silver in Rio and gold in Tokyo & Paris, Jess has carved out one of the most decorated careers in canoe slalom history. But her story goes far beyond the medals. It’s about resilience, pressure, persistence, and learning to master the mental game in a sport defined by chaos.

Jess shares what it’s really like competing at four Olympics, how she stays composed under pressure, and what life looks like on and off the water.

Another great ep today, all the boys had their funny pants on! We kicked off the show by discussing how Mack & Linc broke the internet before getting stuck into some footy! Dyl recalled how he ended up in the GWS Giants team sauna during the week, he described how his good mate Nasiah Wangeneen-Milera maintains his low heart rate, Brett gave us an update on the footy buried at Punt Road and Funny Pants Mick was up and about as we made some new stings.

Yes fam this week on Dyl & Friends I'm joined by Will Schofield.

Premiership Eagle, media weapon, and all-around good bloke, Schoey joins us for a special episode that goes deep on resilience, grief, culture, and coming of age in one of the most intense AFL eras.

Schoey takes us back to his early days from being interviewed by Choco at 8:30pm, not wanting to go to Port, and making the huge move across the country as a teenager. Drafted to West Coast in 2006, he walked into a club filled with stars like Judd and Cousins during one of its most chaotic chapters. He shares what it was like debuting in that era, watching the drug saga unfold, and the massive cultural shifts he saw over his 14-year career.

We talk about the 2015 Grand Final loss, and the rollercoaster that followed. Schoey opens up about losing his dad, grieving the loss of a mate, falling in and out of the side, and how fatherhood gave him purpose. His 2018 premiership story is raw, emotional, and a proper lesson in perseverance.

Plus, we chat about life after footy, how BackChat started, his work with Fox Footy and why he's more than happy behind the mic these days.
